16th June ABIE UK Economic Update with William Hobbs, Barclays

William Hobbs joined Barclays in October 2005, working in the Equity Research team, covering the global consumer sector. He then moved into the Investment Strategy team running global equity strategy for the EMEA division. He is now head of Investment Strategy for UK and Europe. William is a fellow of the Securities Institute and has over 10 years experience in the financial sector. He has just completed a Masters in international business and economic development at Birkbeck, University of London.

Join us for a presentation by Barclays’ Head of Investment Strategy for the UK and Europe, William Hobbs, about the global economic outlook.

In the leadup to the Brexit referendum, Will will discuss the implications for the UK, EU and more broadly. With global trends such as oil prices decreasing and trade declining, equity markets are becoming unsettled. Will’s insights into the outlook for global economies will be relevant to businesses operating locally and internationally.

Held at Barclays’ office in Canary Wharf, there will be networking over a light breakfast from 8.30am with the presentation to start at 9.00am.
