Commonwealth Bank of Australia in France

With Prime Minister Turnbull currently in France for Anzac Day and President Macron due to visit Australian in early May, the relationship between France and Australia continues to strengthen in 2018.

The development of business relationships between Australia and France is an important objective of ABIE France. The only Franco-Australian business association in France, ABIE provides a forum for companies and professionals to forge business relations, develop contacts and to exchange information.

The Commonwealth Bank of Australian (CBA) has been a major player in supporting ABIE in its role in France, through its annual sponsor since 2015. We look forward to next month’s Annual Economic Presentation by CBA Chief Economist Michael Blythe.  The evening, a highlight of the ABIE calendar, provides members with an exclusive opportunity to benefit from the wealth of knowledge CBA has to offer its customers and partners worldwide.

CBA focuses on building partnerships where its expertise of the Australian market and product offering can deliver distinct advantages to clients.  In addition to providing products and services to financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions as well as corporates and multinationals, the bank also provides migrant banking services for people moving to Australia.

CBA has been building partnerships in Europe since 1913 and this long history has enabled CBA to establish key positions in a diverse range of market segments in France.  Today the bank enjoys strong relationships with French customers and France is a core market for CBA.
